Bramblings Forest School

On a crisp, frosty morning in a Gloucestershire woodland, you may be lucky to see a Brambling! A sociable bird, they migrate from colder countries each year to spend the (slightly warmer) winter in the UK. ‘Brambling’ was also a family term used to describe the act of collecting blackberries. Hence Brambling Forest School was born!

"Let's raise tree children - wild spirits with strong roots, who bend but don't break - children whose arms make shelters & heart's are home to little birds singing out for the sheer joy of it."
- Nicolette Sowder
